    I like that very much, Graham – and I think I see the hand of SEP2 here! Having the vanishing point – the door – black, and on/near a visual strong point, is just the thing. Adrian

      Thank you Adrian. There is indeed a certain involvement with SEP2 here. I tend to do a basic tidy / crop /etc in Elements, then go to a SEP pre-set and muck about with it… Then back to final fine-tune in Elements.

      Lacock Abbey is a great place to take photographs. I took a lot of shots but most don’t seem as good as I thought / hoped they were when I viewed them on the PC.

    I like this a lot. I wonder if the doorway is just a little too dark for the prevailing low-contrast—perhaps better the same shade as one of the darker corbels? (Is that the right word for those thingies in the ceiling?)

      Thank you Peter. I’ll try another edit with the doorway a little less dark (if I can work out how to do that!
