      Thank you Diane. Some volunteers have been restoring the old Wilts & Berks Canal nearby, and have unearthed various pieces of rusted machinery (nice shapes,colours, textures) – I’ve taken a few photgraphs, so will post more in the next day or two.

    Excellent shot! It’s got a sort of charming simplicity despite being so absurd. I like the depth of field.

    Nicely composed – the temptation would be to centralise the rusty thing in the frame, but in not doing, you’ve gone beyond the obvious. The rusty colours also complement the green grass nicely.

    O-this reminds me of a very old B horror film about killer mushrooms–really there is/was such a film. But this metal one looks somehow–forlorn rather than menacing. LOL.
